Scott Shepard joins CCI

Scott received his B.S. in Chemistry from UCLA in 2012, where he worked with Prof. Paula Diaconescu on redox-switchable catalysis.

He joined the group of Prof. Christopher C. Cummins at MIT to begin his graduate studies. He is working on the isolation and characterization of early transition metal oxo complexes ligated by the tetrametaphosphate tetranion. These complexes have potential as robust, powerful, and cost effective oxidation catalysts.
